Layout design development of a domestic multicellular processor MultiClet P1
"Digital Solutions", SPE, LLC developed the layout design of the first domestic multicellular processor MultiClet P1 "MCp0411100101". The customer of the work is MULTICLET Corp. (www.multiclet.com). Initial data for layout design was verilog netlist transferred by the customer.
Multicellular processor is designed to address a wide range of tasking and digital signal processing applications that require minimal power consumption and high performance. The original multicellular architecture of the Russian development possessing property of natural realization of overlapping (without solution of a parallelization problem), allows to realize effectively computing process that gives increase in productivity at simultaneous decrease in power consumption.
Main characteristics of the MCp0411100101 processor:
- number of cores - one (four cells),
- maximum clock frequency – 100 MHz,
- performance – 2,4 Gflops,
- word length – 32/64 bits,
- memory – 256 KB,
- maximum power consumption – 1 W.
